Weekend Picker LLC ("Weekend Picker," "we," "us") operates the Weekend Picker website and app, a service for discovering and listing local in-person sales (the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account info — your email address and, optionally, a display name and mobile phone number.
- Content you provide — sales you save or list, items, photos, messages, and reviews.
- Location — an approximate or precise location (only with your permission) to show sales near you.
- Usage & device data — basic logs, device/browser type, and interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.
How we use information
- To provide the Service — show nearby sales, save your lists, plan routes, and connect buyers and sellers.
- To send messages you've asked for — email and, if you opt in, text alerts (see "Text messages" below).
- To process payments for paid seller features (handled by our payment processor, Stripe).
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Text messages (SMS)
We send SMS text messages only to numbers that have opted in (see our Text Message Program). The mobile information we collect to send these messages — including your phone number and your consent to receive texts — is used solely to deliver the messages you requested.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in/consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service: with service providers that process data on our behalf (for example, hosting, analytics, our SMS provider, and our payment processor Stripe) under contracts that limit their use of it; with other users only as you choose (for example, the public details of a sale you list, or messages you send another user); and when required by law. We never sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP; manage email and alert preferences in your account.
- Control location permission in your browser or device settings.
- Request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing us.
Data retention & security
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
